The lone succubus....
The delicate balance of good and evil can be observed on a cool summer night.
While walking in the woods one can listen for the sensuous song of the lone succubus.
She wades in the center of the lake playing her violin,
luring the unknowing woodsmen to the center of the woods to be lost amongst the trees.
The music wisps through the air carried by the wind, far beyond the woods, bringing the song to men in their homes, and places of work, drawing them farther and farther from what they know.
Her song and figure cause men to be plagued with weakness, children to become orphans and women to become widows.
This balance of good and evil is seen in the response of the men who hear her song. The idle will follow the song into the woods and consort with the demon, while the strong will continue to work and hunt.
